Researcher 

As an artist / teacher / researcher I strive to continuously develop the quality of my professional practice and knowledge. Conducting ongoing research in my subject area, reading and implementing policy, creating continuous improvements so my knowledge stays current and relevant. Part of my responsibility as a teacher is to ensure that the curriculum is accessible to all, in order to enable students to reach their maximum potential.  

 

It is essential to my teaching practice that the classroom be considered a safe, inclusive learning environment for all. In order to achieve this goal, research into inclusivity and differentiation will need to be a fundamental aspect of my teaching practice.
