My name is Aisling Rock . I am an musician, artist and educator from Co. Roscommon. I graduated from the Dublin City University in 2020 with a B.Ed. in Religious Education and Music. In final year placement in B.Ed. Religious Education and Music my religious classes where highly creative that lead to pursue a career in Art Education. In 2024 I will graduate in a B.Ed. in Art and Design in Technological University of the Shannon. 

 

From my own practice Visual Arts opens up a world of opportunities to look more deeply at the world around them and consider their place within it. As a teacher I am creative and enthusiastic and take a student-centred approach by harmonizing constructivism and holistic teaching methods to my practice. I believe strongly that students should have a voice in their own learning and embed this belief throughout my practice.
